Functions and Uses:
1. DRN-618 can strike plate a thin nickel deposit (about 1.5 to 2.5 microns thickness) on the bright nickel deposit.
2. It makes the subsequent chrome electrodeposit to produce numerous microporous that greatly improves the corrosion resistance of the composite deposits.
3. When DRN-618 is applied to multi-layer nickel coating system, it can obviously improve the protection of single bright nickel layer.
4. When DRN-618 is used in none- pinhole deposits, DRN-618 will not filling up the pores of the bottom deposit, but increases the affinity with the chrome deposit to assist the subsequent electrodeposits.
