Twenty20 Cricket World cup in 2007 in South Africa
The Twenty20 world cup cricket tournament will be held in 2007 in South Africa..right after the inconsequential one day international world cup in the West Indies.
Guess which tournament is going to be more keenly watched?
Anyways, here’s to a great 2007 – a year when Twenty20 cricket will replace one day international cricket in popularity!Â

The Sri Lanka Vs New Zealand Twenty20 international cricket series was tied 1-1.
The Sri Lankan cricket team did not seem to take the Twenty20 cricket series seriously and rested both Jayasurya and Muralitharan – the principal matchwinners of the Sri Lankan cricket team for the second Twenty20 cricket series.
Nathan Astle, was not rested by New Zealand despite his injuries and he justified his selection in the second Twenty20 international with a match winning knock.
Isnt it time, international cricket teams around the world fielded their best teams for a Twenty20 international cricket match?
