Vijaykumar Yo Mahesh, great prospect for Indian cricket

Vijaykumar Yo Mahesh-1

Vijaykumar Yo Mahesh is an exciting prospect for Indian cricket

Yo Mahesh is a classy bowler , ideally suited for Twenty20 and one day international cricket

Today, in the Delhi Daredevils Vs Mumbai Indians IPL Twenty20 cricket match,Yo Mahesh proved that he has nerves of steel. After being taken for 15 runs from his first over by a rampaging Sanath Jayasurya,Yo Mahesh then came back really well to take 4 wickets.

Yo Mahesh is another of those great finds of the Indian Premier League IPL Twenty20 cricket tournament

Yo Mahesh , along with Piyush Chawla, Mishra and definitely Gony, is one of the great finds of the Indian Premier League (IPL)

To restate the obvious,Yo Mahesh is going through a short learning curve.Bowling to the likes of Jayasurya,Graeme Smith and Dhoni is definitely done wonders for Vijaykumar Yo Mahesh

Yo Mahesh has done well in the IPL Twenty20 cricket competition, but given the competition , may find it difficult to break into the Indian cricket team soon

Yo Mahesh still has some time to get into the Indian cricket team , given the competition for medium fast bowlers , but is definitely an exciting prospect

Sanath Jayasurya, one man army for Mumbai Indians IPL cricket team

sanath jayasurya

Originally uploaded by hottest property

Sanath Jayasurya is the most devastating opening batsman of world cricket

Sanath Jayasurya is currently decimating the Delhi Daredevils bowlers in the crucial Mumbai Indians Vs Delhi Daredevils IPL cricket match

Watching Sanath Jayasurya bat is like watching a machine gun assault.

Sanath Jayasurya obviously believes in the policy of “Take no prisoners, and show no mercy”. Sanath Jayasurya treats every bowler as if the bowler was a green novice making his debut in cricket

Amazingly,Sanath Jayasurya has been dropped so frequently by the Sri Lankan cricket team

Sanath Jayasurya of the Sri Lankan cricket team and Virendra Sehwag of the Indian cricket team are simply once in a lifetime talents. When Sanath Jayasurya and Sehwag fail, their national cricket selectors probably feel that they dont deserve to have a place in the cricket team, due to a lack of technique

But its simply stupid to ever drop Jayasurya or Sehwag since they are such talented blokes and technique really does not matter when you have people with such talent who can create such fear among the opposition team ’s bowlers by their mere presence

I hope to see more of the classy Sanath Jayasurya , at least in the Indian Premier League

Anil Kumble shows oldies can play IPL (Indian Premier League)

Anil Kumble Circle

Anil Kumble once again demonstrated that age is no bar for Twenty20 cricket, as he led the Bangalore Royal Chellengers to an amazing win over the famed Chennai SuperKings

Anil Kumble has an important Bangalore junction, named after him- the Anil Kumble Circle.

Anil Kumbledemonstrated his gratitude towards his home city, by helping the Bangalore Royal Challengers win an amazing cricket match against the Chennai SuperKings, led by Dhoni

\

In a classic display of spin bowling, Anil Kumble demonstrated his never-say-die attitude again as the Bangalore Royal Challengers surprised the Chennai SuperKings by 14 runs

Anil Kumble had an amazing spell of 14 runs for 3 wickets in the Bangalore Royal Challengers Vs Chennai SuperKings IPL cricket match

The Bangalore Royal Challengers are playing only for pride, and Anil Kumble epitomized that attitude by getting 3 wickets for just 14 runs in 4 overs. When Kumble came in to bowl, the Chennai SuperKings were 60 without loss, chasing a meagre score of 127 runs

Anil Kumble then seemed to be unplayable, as he spun out both openers, Fleming and Parthiv Patel, and then got rid of Badrinath, the best batsman in the Chennai SuperKings IPL cricket team

With Anil Kumble in form, the Bangalore Royal Challengers are capable of creating some more upsets in their last two games of the Indian Premier League

Shaun Pollock, Mumbai Indians IPL hero

Shaun Pollock is the hero of the Mumbai Indians cricket team in the IPL

Shaun Pollock is an unassuming, almost shy, unpolitical guy who always lets his cricket do the talking- a personality similar to that of Sachin Tendulkar

Shaun Pollock is probably one of the best allrounders ever in international cricket

Shaun Pollock is almost never spoken about in the same hushed tones as the great allrounders such as Ian Botham, Imran Khan, Kapil Dev or even Jaques Kallis,, who is regarded as the best allrounder of the current generation

Shaun Pollock is very easily the better bowler compared to Kallis and probably deserved a better batting position than the number four he batted in test matches

Shaun Pollock : South African cricket team’s loss is Mumbai Indians’ gain

Shaun Pollock retired early, tired of the selection policies of the South African cricket selectors, and the Mumbai Indians stood to gain by his retirement, as Shaun Pollock is now available for the entire IPL cricket series for the Mumbai Indians

Shaun Pollock, the unsung hero of South African cricket, is now the hero of the teeming Mumbai metropolis

Shane Warne,IPL ’s best captain

Shane Warne is the IPL ’s best captain

After the first couple of matches in the IPL, Shane Warne ’s Rajasthan Royals seemed like a cricket team that has already thrown in the towel.

Munaf Patel , the leading bowler of the Rajasthan Royals, criticized his team ’s composition and seemed to suggest that he was prepared to go back on his traditional injury leave again and leave his captain Shane Warne in the lurch

But Shane Warne , the Rajasthan Royals captain, had other plans- and the Rajasthan Royals are now the leading team in the IPL (Indian Premier League)

Shane Warne, the best captain the Australian cricket team never had

Shane Warne would have probably extended his career if he had been appointed Australian cricket captain, instead of Ricky Ponting

Ricky Ponting ’s appointment as Australian cricket captain in place of Shane Warne was the biggest blunder the Australian Cricket Board has made yet

Not only is the Australian cricket team looking more and more vulnerable in the absence of Shane Warne and Mcgrath, but Ricky Ponting is also leading a “pack of wild dogs” instead of professional cricketers

Shane Warne is the IPL ’s best captain and the best advertisement of the Indian Premier League’s success

Sourav Ganguly’s Kolkata Knight Riders vs Bangalore Royal Challengers in IPL cricket league

Sourav ganguly at the launch of Kolkata Knight Riders

Sourav Ganguly ’s Kolkata Knight Riders take on the Bangalore Royal Challengers in the Indian Premier League cricket tournament

In the next couple of hours, the Indian Premier League (IPL) will be underway and Sourav Ganguly ’s Kolkata Knight Riders will play against the Bangalore Royal Challengers.

I have always been a great fan of Sourav Ganguly ’s captaincy and this will be a great opportunity to watch Sourav ’s captaincy against his “good friend” Rahul Dravid ’s Royal Challengers

Sourav Ganguly has been India’s best captain ever, but handling the diverse dressing room of the Kolkata Knight Riders will not be easy

Sourav Ganguly is a masterly leader and the way he handled the batting greats of Indian cricket, namely Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid and VVS Laxman suggest that he will be equal to handling Ricky Ponting,Hussey and Chris Gayle

Sourav Ganguly brings to the table his own brand of no-nonsense die-hard captaincy, along with his incredible people handling skills. One would have to watch how his Kolkata Knight Riders team fares especially against the pace bowling of Dale Steyn

Will Sourav Ganguly be late for IPL ’s inaugural toss and will Rahul Dravid be subjected to the Steve Waugh treatment? Probably Not!

Indian Cricket League Twenty20 Vs Indian Premier League Twenty20

The Indian Cricket League Twenty20 Vs Indian Premier League Twenty20 cricket

The Board of Control of Cricket in India or the BCCI has launched the Indian Premier League Twenty20 cricket tournament, in response to the recently launched Indian Cricket League Twenty20

The ostensible purpose of the Indian Premier League Twenty20 cricket tournament is to put a dampener on the high flying Indian Cricket League promoted by Zee Television. With Indian cricket ’s great allrounder Kapil Dev promoting the Indian Premier League Twenty20 cricket tournament, the BCCI was in danger of losing its monopoly over Indian cricket.

In response, the BCCI has launched its own Twenty20 cricket format, the Indian Premier League, and has promised that the world’s best cricketers will participate in this Twenty20 cricket tournament

The Twenty20 Indian Premier League of cricket will reduce the dependence of the BCCI on the fortunes of brand “India”

The BCCI is of course world cricket’s most rich institution. In fact, the BCCI is one of the richest sports institutions in the world

The greatest risk to the BCCI currently is the failure of the Indian cricket team, which leads to a huge loss in advertising revenues for its broadcasters as seen in the cricket World cup and thereby the BCCI stands to lose in the long run

By promoting the Twenty20 Indian cricket league that transcends national boundaries, the BCCI ensures that its revenue model is unaffected by the changing fortunes of the Indian cricket team

The Indian Cricket League like Twenty20 format was inevitable as cricket becomes a professional sport

The Twenty20 Indian Cricket League format is part of the natural progression of cricket as a professional sport. Any successful professional sport such as basketball and baseball has relegated matches between national sports teams to secondary status, while the professional league takes on primary importance

The Twenty20 Indian Cricket League format could now replace bilateral cricket contests and establish itself as the primary league for the world’s best cricketers

Can Dhoni spring a surprise in India Vs Australia Twenty20 cricket match at Mumbai?

Indian cricket captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni

Mahendra Singh Dhoni ’s Indian cricket team are the underdogs again in the India Vs Australia Twenty20 cricket match at Mumbai

The India Vs Australia Twenty20 cricket match is to be played at Mumbai on October,20,2007.

Mahendra Singh Dhoni ’s Indian cricket team finds itself as underdogs again in India Vs Australia Twenty20 match. The drubbing the Indian cricket team has received so far in the one day international cricket series against Australia, has dulled expectations from the Indian cricket team for the lone India Vs Australia Twenty20 cricket match

India Vs Australia Twenty20 cricket match marks the first official International Twenty20 cricket match in India

Twenty20 cricket in India is obviously highly popular, given the win of Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s Indian cricket team in the Twenty20 cricket World cup. The India Vs Australia Twenty20 cricket match tickets are already sold out in Mumbai, with people from across India flocking to see India’ s inaugural Twenty20 cricket match

The question on everybody minds for the India Vs Australia Twenty20 cricket match- will there be cheerleaders?

It seems unlikely that Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Ricky Ponting ’s men will be cheered by cheerleaders as in South Africa, buy hey, a Bollywood dance or two may come in handy for the India Vs Australia Twenty20 cricket match

Next Twenty20 match:India Vs Australia Twenty20 cricket international match on October 20,at Brabourne Stadium,Mumbai

The India Vs Australia Twenty20 match at Brabourne Stadium is the next Twenty20 international cricket match

The next Twenty20 international cricket match will be a day night affair at the Brabourne Stadium at Mumbai, featuring the Twenty20 World cup champions,India led by Mahendra Singh Dhoni and the Australia, the reigning one day international cricket World cup champions, led by Ricky Ponting

India Vs Australia Twenty20 cricket international on October 20-no standing space available

One thing is for sure, the India Vs Australia Twenty20 cricket international match at the Brabourne cricket stadium will be watched by millions on television and more importantly, fifty thousand people at the Brabourne stadium at Mumbai

My friends at Mumbai have already started reaching out to their friendly neighbourhood Bombay Cricket Association member for tickets for the India Vs Australia Twenty20 cricket match and have already almost lost hope

Twenty20 cricket in India is here to stay and the India Vs Australia Twenty20 cricket international at Brabourne stadium will confirm that assertion

Twenty20 cricket matches will be the rage in India, just as it is the world over and the Indian cricket spectators at Mumbai and millions on television can be rest assured to stay glued to the match until the last ball of the India Vs Australia Twenty20 cricket match is bowled

Move away, one day international cricket, the India Vs Australia Twenty20 cricket match will prove that Twenty20 cricket in India is here to stay
