Traditionally,Twenty20 cricket has thrown up exciting performances by cricket veterans like Adam Holliake and Sanath Jayasurya.Veteran cricketers such as Brian Lara,Sachin Tendulkar and Sanath Jayasurya can look to play more international cricket in the form of Twenty20 internationals after their retirement from Test and one day international cricket
Twenty20 cricket obviously requires less exertion than traditional test and one day international cricket matches
Twenty20 cricket could really help Lara,Sachin and Jayasurya play more years of test and one day international cricket matches. Imagine the juicy proposition- Sachin Tendulkar,Brian Lara and Jayasurya could be playing years more of international cricket. Also, these cricketing greats could break more international records in Twenty20 cricket and not let upstarts grab all the cricket records in this new exciting cricket format
