Xavier Marshall has broken the sixes record in one day international cricket
Xavier Marshall has slammed12 sixes in a single one day international cricket match for the West Indies against the hapless Canada cricket team. By launching 12 sixes in a single one day international cricket match, Xavier Marshall has beaten the long standing record of Sanath Jayasurya and Shahid Afridi who held the sixes record in one day internationals with eleven sixes in a single one day international cricket match
Xavier Marshall scored his 12 sixes record against a weak Canada cricket team
Xavier Marshall ’s 12 sixes record has come against the Canada cricket team which is definitely not even among the top 10 cricketing nations of the world. But hey, hitting 12 sixes is not easy against any opposition, and Xavier Marshall has showcased his talent
Xavier Marshall once again proves that Twenty20 cricket stars can also do well in one day international cricket
Xavier Marshall is of course one of the stars of the Stanford Cricket League. The typical reaction of cricket buffs is to dismiss Twenty20 cricket stars but Xavier Marshall could do well even in conventional one day international cricket and test cricket.
The Canada cricket team did not have a Mendis or a Muralitharan in their cricket team, but hey, full marks to Xavier Marshall for his incredible one day international cricket record

I would predict this record will be broken this summer in the World 20/20 Cricket Tournment in England this year.
Lords would not be the biggest boundary and with the Netherlands playing there twice in the group stages, the record looks under threat!
